Well, this is a little late but I was visiting my family in DG when you posted! I actually grew up in DG and went to DG South. I wasn't far from Teddy's Red Hots - my wife's favorite place for Italian Beef Sandwiches (mine's Portillos.) And my GT is also white! Too funny. Hope you had a good trip back to NC. Have you taken your G to the track yet since your mods? I'm debating the AR headers system at the moment.

Just my luck! Went to South as well, class of '75 (yeah, an old fahrt, I know:oldfogey:). I can see Teddy's from my folks house.
No track time yet. Car hits the dyno friday. Gonna do a few runs to see what each mod does on its own. Probably be back in the 90's. Just got back from a week in Columbus. You around there?

DGSHS Class of '89! Yes; I'm in Columbus. What mods are you planning? I did a baseline dyno on my car and it made 300 rwhp and 315 rwtq. These #'s were corrected to SAE and the dyno was on a Dynojet. I'm really torn on what direction to go with my car. I just came from a highly modified mustang and actually miss it despite how great the G8 is. Had to get something new that is more "family-friendly"! Good thing is that my new family friendly vehicle also happens to have a 6.0L V8! I am seriously considering the AR Headers, but a part of me thinks I should just wait until next year and get the magnacharger. My wife would kill me! I still need to get some all-season tires too for the winter. In all likelihood, I'll just do bolt-on stuff and stay naturally-aspirated but a guy can dream, right? :)

I played BBall for Coach Dick Flaiz at DGS. Was he around when you were there? I don't think he was but he was probably there in the early 80's. Did you play any sports?

Let me know what your car does on the dyno.

Take care,

Brian
