I dont usually see all that many cars around here that are worthy of messing with but..... On the way to and from the beach this weekend I ran into a couple. Neither one wanted to get next to me and go but we did get to play around a bit.

First was on the way, was an 01 M3. Gorgeous car, we generally just kept buzzing by eachother and it never really opened up enough for both of us to go. Cruisin at 80 we would have needed some space. One time he hit it with myself behind him, I had no prob keeping up. We stopped and chatted at a gas station a ways down the highway, nice guy.

Second on the way back. New 300c SRT8, didnt get to mess with him much. Alot of traffic. At one point he was behind me and nailed it passing me, but the time I got on the gas it was too late but I did manage to keep the distance between the two of us fairly constant.

Love the get up and go of this car from 70+. My old firebird just didnt have it in that range. It was all bottom end.

Anyway, figured I would share.

I have one that's good for this thread. A friend of mine I work with has a C6 Z06. He's had it for a little while now and he's taken it to tracks and stuff but he's still a novice driver, especially on launching. I told him I'd like to run him from a stop up to about 100mph. I knew he would blow me away, I just wanted to see how much of a jump I could get. We ran twice and I had him beat up to about 65-70mph and them he blew by. It was fun.

Enjoyed both occurances, talked to the guy in the M3 for a while afterwards, he said he was putting out something like 340hp and 320tq at the crank. Said it was slightly modified, and that his was all top end. Said he barely pulled an STi from 70. Makes me think I would have no prob taking him from a roll or dig.

The SRT I didnt get to play with much. Another time.

i know, i was just poking fun, besides the srt guys aren't nearly as bad as the GTR fan bois on LS1tech...

I know someone that has one of those SRT8 Jeeps. 6.1 Hemi with I think it's 420 HP. They have got to be heavier then a G8, wonder how good a run that would be?

^only run it from a 50+ roll if you want to have a chance....
