I saw the new Falken RT7M on a Maserati Quattroporte (pictured below) and thought these wheels would look killer on the G8. Is anyone running these?

This wheel model comes in excellent dimensions which suite the G8 perfectly.

17x7.5 +40

18x8 +35
18x9 +40

20x8.5 +35
20x10 +38 (aggressive)

Need more offset on the rear 20" rim to make it fit well on our cars. +45 is about as low as you can go and still tuck, but still needs modification.

Otherwise, they are great looking wheels.

They don't list 18x9 in +40 on the link you sent for 5x120. Only 5x112 or whatever that was.

Good eye.

I'm not sure why this isn't listed on our site but the 18x9 5-120 +40 is an option and right now we have a pair in stock.

Will the 18x9 5-120 +40 work on a GXP? Basically, will this clear the front Brembos?

I've been looking at these rims for the past week now on falken's site. They should be sending me the actual weight specs for these too. My one question is, if I plan on using the 18x9's 40 offset in the rear with a 275/40, will it rub in any way shape or form under a hard launch while using the eibach lowering kit?

The 18x9 +40 mounted with 275/40-18 tires is semi-aggressive on your set-up so the tires will need to be choosen accordingly.

Tire sizes/brands are like shoe sizes. Some brands run larger while other brands run smaller in the same size. That said, rubbing may occur depending on the tire brand you run. Nitto, Hankook, and Falken typically run smaller in size.

The actual wheel weight on the 18x9 +40 RT7M is 25lbs.

So will that setup be able to use the eibachlowering springs or no? I don't have the springs on but wanted to know if that is something I can add with that combo. As far as which tire I would NEED a drag radial for the street. Nitto 555R would be my first choice for the street since they have a decent tread pattern for the wet weather here in S.Florida. Next choice would be Mickey Thomson.

What's the stock 18 inch wheel weight again? I forgot.

I realize that nitto doesn't offer a 275/40 18 so whats another size close to this to give me as much tire to the pavement without rub or looking weird

You should be able to run an Eibach lowering kit with the 275/40R18 and an 18x9 +40mm offset (assuming you are running a Nitto, Falken or Hankook). I would recommend sticking with this size and looking at the Nitto NT05. This tire won't have quite the grip that a drag radial would but it will handle better in corners and it will do much better in wet conditions as well.

I don't have the weight specs for your stock wheel.

Stock 18's are around 27 lbs.

That's great news that these will fit the GXP! Thanks for checking. I was thinking of running the 18x9 +40 on all four corners with 275/40/18 tires. Something to think about.
