has anyone used or seen this kenwood KOS-A200 media controller? for people who dont want to remove factory radios!! this looks like a good solution for people who want a second aux it has rca input 3.5 mm input usb input and best of all it has a direct input for the kenwood sirius tuner !!! now it does say it will only work with rds radios that display text.. does our g8s have this????

Not gonna work. I'm sure it's for "normal" GM's, not our G8's with the Blapunkt radios.

Actually this just might work. If our radio's support RDS then it should as it is a wired in fm modulator that converts the ID3 etc info from an mp3 or similar source nto an RDS tag.

The radio in the G8 does NOT have RDS.

damn no rds , i looked in owners maual last night and did not see anything about rds!!! ok now i also found this too harmon kardon makes this new drive + play 2 this thing is awesome too!! it can hook in through fm antenna and aux but this cool new toy has usb input that reads mp3s! ipod input and a direct input for sirius!!!!! people what do you think about this ? this looks like the answer but... it is 400 dollars kinda steep. has anyone looked in to the new jl audio products? they have a new box that has three rca inputs this looks cool too!!!
