Anyone know if the UK market (Vauxhall) is getting a VE rebadge similar to the G8? If anything I suspect it would come over as a new Vectra or replacement thereof.

Well I heard it was coming - but the UK market is just a handful of cars. I think there was only a hundred or two Monaro's ever sent there.

True. I seem to remember that apart from the limited market issue, I believe they only imported a few hundred because of import taxes they would have had to pay. Atleast that's what I heard.

I heard that they planning on taking around 400 VE's per year to the motherland.

Also heard that Opel has a VE (Calais I think) and will decide whether or not to sell it on the Europe mainland.

VE's are everywhere...:)

Yes, Vauxhall will be selling it in the UK.

Which means we'll likely see it on the next series of Top Gear.

I remember on the Fifth Gear review of the VXR 500, Tom said they were sending over a 4 door replacement in a couple of years.

From Information I have heard the VE Commodore could be replacing the Vauxhall Cavalier which suprisingly enough was the basis for the Original VB Commodore in 1978.

Definitely not a Vectra replacement though, completely different size.
