It's a 300c SRT8 and he ran a 12.6 @ 111mph. He said his #'s are 400rwhp/403rwtq. I've been trying to run him for a long time, but for whatever reason he never wants to. I've caught him on the freeway 1 time, but he wasn't trying to run then either. He said we'll run soon from a roll and I'm curious what you guys think. I have bolt ons with long tube headers.

Sub'd for outcome. What mods have you done? If you're stock and he has run a 12.6 I don't think it's gonna happen. I have been smoking every base and hemi'd Charger, 300c, and Magnum round here, never an SRT8 though.

12.6 is a hard launch for such a big car. Slicks & converter? MPH at 111, probably has exhaust & tune?

Considering he hasn't had the cojones to race him yet I'd say he's blowing smoke. He could be waiting for you to offer to put some money on it though, so don't do that.lol

We had a 300 SRT8 running around 12.9 at MIR on an extremely good DA day. He had CAM, LT's, CAI and tune.

What?? SRT8's can hit 400rwhp without a blower dude. From what he told me a while back he was intake, exhaust, & tune. As a matter of fact I just spoke to Deuuuce a few hours ago and he told me everything seems to be spot on. I asked to run him last week, but he said he had to bring his car in because his idle was messing up. I spoke to him today, but whenever he's ready we'll do it and I plan to get this on vid too.

Really? According to a few Google searches, the Challenger, the 300c SRT8 and the Charger SRT8 are almost exactly the same weight. They're within 10lbs of 4150.

But at OP, you should be running right around 380WHP (elevation dependent) with full bolt-ons, which with the much better transmission in the G8 should be even if not slightly weighted in your advantage. Just make sure you manually select the right gear when roll racing! From a roll it will be very close, from a dig the G8 should have it by alot.

SSmokin99 you are talking about your 99 camaro SS with full bolt ons right? If so I think you will scrap that guy. I think he is full of it if he says he ran 12.6 with the same mods as Deuuuce. I've also never seen an SRT8 with those mods get more than a high 12.8 at the track. When I ran you and you put a few car lengths on me I was running dead even with SRT8s with those mods at the track so I wouldn't worry about it.

You shouldnt have a problem with boltons from a dig, a roll will came down to driver/ who gets the hit. I have run many and usually win, I have yet to get a good run with a challenger though but the 300c and charger should be no problem.

Like I said with my prior mods of high flow cats/tune/intake you easily put a bus length on me. (now that I have the headers we will have to have a rematch) With less mods than that I was within a car length of deuuuce who for sure ran a ligit 12.7 at 110 on street tires. What are that guys exact mods. Did he have drag radials when he ran that time?

its prolly gonna be close. do u know which track he ran at and when? cuz if it was at sac before like October their Trap Speeds were off a good bit.

He did say he was intake, exhaust, & tune. When I asked him again he never text me back. SO, maybe he has more. LOL

It is not possible on our tracks out here. Maybe at Atco but not Infineon or Sacramento Raceway:judge:

I've seen mild cammed SRT8's at infineon run 12.5s so maybe thats what he has. Hell at the very least if he truly is just and intake, catback and tune then he must have Drag Radials because that is faster than the intake/High flow cat/catback dyno tuned SRT8's that I have seen.

For comparison purposes, I know we have at least two forum members who ran 12.9 bone stock with the GXP and I personally witnessed and A6 GXP run a 12.4 with CAI/Tune, 285 rear tires on CTS-V rims, and some suspension upgrades. Not far fetched for me to believe he only has the mods you are talking about.

IMHO, if he had a cam, mild or otherwise, I would suspect better numbers across the board.......
