GHOUSE1803 07-12-2008, 06:35 PM ok so i was installing the fm direct adapter for my sirius and something isnt right im using 40-vw10 and 40-vw20 and these antenna adapters dont seem to be right. i found these part numbers from earlier threads what am i doing wrong??? the end thats uppose to into the radio doesnt fit snug or even clip like the factory antenna plug. and how does the antenna fit into the adapter it dont even look close to connecting together!! please help !!! MANOFSTEEL69 07-13-2008, 12:11 AM The adaptor I used for my Sportster 5 was a Metra AntennaWorks 40-EU30 which is for 2000-Up VW/BMW/European cars if that helps you. That and alot of guys prefer to keep a nice clean look going w/out wires hanging all over. Only dumbass move on my part is I didn't wire it hot so I can't have my Sirius on with out the key being on :(. But this way I won't forget to turn it off......Which could pose a problem if Tigger sits from weekend to weekend lol, that's if I could stop driving the damn thing. Climbed back in my SVT Focus the other day and was like eeewwww! Used to love that little go-cart too!
