Well last year when I was stock I ran one of my co workers that is as cocky as cocky can be and constantly runs his mouth. He claimed he was full bolt on when we ran last year and now denies he was. Here is the vid link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxmtOELj3wo
So now he claims hes got a 150 shot and runs 11's with that setup. Just seems kinda far fetched to me but the kicker is he wants a rematch to put my "G8 in its place" and for $500. Thoughts anyone? By the time we run I will have full exaust, stall and a 125 shot.

Yeah, it's probably just best to slap him and tell him he is an idiot.

Someone like that, from the sounds of it, a) doesnt know squat about cars, b) doesnt know squat about mods, c) might do just about anything to make sure he doesnt lose his money!! So I would be careful to say the least IF you do it. Myself, i agree with most here and just say he's an idiot and you dont need to prove yourself again! JMO

Be careful. He's running an old LT1 with nothing to loose. He may throw enough laughing gas on it to beat you in the race and fry his engine at the same time. What does he care? What's junkyard replacement LT1 these days, $500?

This is the answer I almost expected to see. I dont know everything about cars but enough to tell when someone is bsing. I guess if I do run him this summer i will make sure to share the vids, and if we do i plan on calling him out at milan dragways no et nationals which is basically like a legal street race grudge match lol

He will probably start with the excuses to bail out of it soon.

LT1 Camaro's last time I checked ran mid 14's on the 1/4. It should not be a problem to run away from him stock vs. stock. From the mods listed on the youtube and what you plan to do, it may be a little closer. He is lighter weight and running a little more boost, but I think the G8 will still take him. Would I risk $500 to see him ***** up his engine, no. Would I do it for a grudge match...yes. My guess is that this match will be a lot closer (car length takes it), but the g8 will still win. Just my $0.02.
