Does it void the warranty???

I installed the rotofab cai. I got a custom Magnaflow exhaust.

I just got the first oil change...(Mobile 1 synthetic.)

There was an ecm/tcm update and now the car shifts harder and faster...

But, the vector tune still interests me...Just concerned about the Warranty.

Taking it to the track on sat.... Cant wait!!!!

Anytime you mod a brand new car you run the risk of your servicing dealership to deny warranty service. However the burden of proof is on the dealer to prove that the modification caused the failure.
Lets say you put LT headers on, and the dealer has to warranty the transmission. Unlikely the dealer could prove the headers caused the failure.
However, the dealer could charge you to remove the headers since they are not original parts. I'm doing this just as an example. Not pointing at any particular header company out there. :D

I was informed by my dealer that they would work on my car if it was tuned. However, they could not speak for other dealers. I just need to let them know that I tuned it when I bring it in.

BTW, what is your opinion of the CAI and catback? I've read where others have experienced some issues without a tune.

Do you own an 08 or 09?
