I am waiting to hear from them as well as I had some questions on their anodizing for caps. I am not going to wait months to get something if I am spending several hundred dollars on their product.

If I can hear from them with a reasonable timeline for shipping for what I want, I'll go ahead with them. If not, moving on unfortunately.

I'm wondering the same thing! I placed an order for a little over $200 on 3/23/2011, and still have not received my catch can and other parts. I've left a message on their website, and left a voice mail. They haven't responded to either one of them. I'm about to open up a dispute with Paypal as well.

Edit: I just got an e-mail from Paypal notifying me that the parts from Billet Prototypes were shipped out today. It would have been nice for them to reply to my message or call me back to let me know that it was going to take a month to get my parts.

I just tried sending an email and haven't heard anything as well. I see two options on there...the normal catch can and the premium. What's the difference? Also, I see there is no option for a non-knurled grip catch can and what is this engraving that's listed on the site? Any help would be appreciated.

I ordered a catch can from BP also and after a couple of weeks when I didn't get it, I emailed. I got no response and then one day it just showed up. Got it 3.5 weeks after my order.

Apparently from reading other threads, this is a common problem with the customer service but eventually the parts do get shipped out. I am happy with the catch can.

I received an email from this vendor a while back after my previous post. This is the vendors side job, so he doesn't have the time or resource allocations that some of us are custom to in this day and age of internet parts shopping. I was too anxious to wait 4 weeks for a catch can so I went else where but whenever people get their parts they have had nothing but praise about the products.

I'm waiting for parts too. Sent an email, haven't had a return or phone call.
aughta be a rule about that if you're going to be a sponsor on the board.

Well, waited 5 weeks for the strut tower covers I ordered, after sending 3 emails that were never responded to, finally initiated a dispute with PayPal, THEN I get an email from Billet Prototypes telling me they were refunding my money! All I wanted was the strut tower covers or some kind of answer to my emails about if and when I would receive them. I went to their website thinking maybe they were going out of business, but still there. Then I checked the strut covers and they had raised the price!
WTF?

Have to say their customer service is a bit slow to say the least. Took me almost 3 weeks to get my catch can with no form of communication untill it was shipped! Very hard to get in contact with these guys! Must say i am very happy with their product though.

It's a shame. They make good stuff. Just there customer service is an issue. What I understand is they make these parts as a side line. Its not there main business.

I ordered a billet catch can, billet valve stem caps, and billet A/C caps from Billet Prototypes back in late March. I received the catch can and valve stem caps, but never received the A/C caps. I've called and left about 5 messages, and none of my calls have been returned! Does anybody know another way to get in touch with them?

Appears they are now "under new management" as of today.

That's correct. Billet Prototypes under new management, so there will no longer be an issue with communication.

As mentioned in this thread, this was a side thing that James was doing. I am turning this into a full time business, so you won't come into the same issues you had to deal with before.

Call or email me any time you guys want. Even if it's just to call to say " omg you're a real person "( which a few people have done)

Seems the only thing that get deliverd quickly are the catch cans and catch can parts. Everything else is still a long wait. 4 weeks so far for strut top covers.

Some people have been waiting longer. The strut tops have been out of stock for almost half a year. Right now, strut tops are at the polisher and then off to anodize.

The reason the catch cans are done quickly, is because we make a new batch every 1-2 months, while the caps and other parts are done in much smaller batches and about 1-2 times a year. Only issue, is that if one color runs out, we can't make an entire batch just to restock that one color.
