Cable run around trunk edge and into trunk lid. It was fished through the cable boot seen at the lower right and then passed into passenger side, run in the lower door sill moulding, across the front of the front passenger footwell, into the consol center stack.

Views of the unit mounted and with the audio cable plugged into the front AUX jack. It is now connected to the rear jack so it looks cleaner and leaves the front jack available. Power was tapped off of the backside (inside consol) of front 12v power jack to the right of the XM.

When I get a chance I'm going to make another bracket to move the XM a bit to the left to give more access to the 12v outlet.

I have another thread about the rear Aux jack.

Aren't these old pics? Thought you changed your hookup.

The post above the 3rd photo says this was before I moved the audio hook-up to the rear aux jack. All that looks different is that you do not see a cable plugged into the front of the radio now.

You've put the antenna in the same place that I have my CB antenna.

One thing I did that you might want to do - the cable pushing the trunk lip seal up caused a water leak - there is a lot of water coming off the rear window and landing in that area, and a small amount would work it's way inside.

I cut the rubber seal and imbedded the wire in the bottom of the cut and then contact cemented the cut back together. Now the wire is enclosed in the gasket and the seal around the trunk is unbroken.

Of course, this makes the mount more permanent once it is glued in place. :)
