Well Ladies and Gents I proved this morning that our cars can exceed the speed of 90 MPH in a quarter mile. I reset the trip at the stop light and I took video of my quarter mile run. I created a party foul by forgetting to turn off my over speed setting of 90 MPH. My over speed sign turned on at .21 miles (See attached Pic) @ 14.0 seconds. I reached 92 MPH in 15.000 seconds. Since I couldnt time when I hit .25 its hard to say what my 1/4 mile was exactly but It was definitly in the 14's based on counting the frames per second per .01 of a mile after 90 MPH in my video. I cant wait to the tracks to open in Mid April.

when i did my 90.19 @ 15.499 my car was bone stock.

don't judge what your doing according to what your gauges say cuz they ain't accurate.

I plan on taking my car to the track this spring. The earlier the better for my time and trap speed. During Cleveland's hot humid summers my iPhone Apps (Dynolicious & Pocket Dino) have me at 7.2 0-60 & 15.3 quarter miles. In the cool spring and winter temps. I can do sub 6.9's 0-60 and VERY high 14's to 15 flat. I expect to see low 15's when I go this spring (15.1-15.2). The track heat is going to warm up the engine bay I would imagine. I will keep you all posted though.

not do be a downer but good luck getting high 14's - a 15 flat in your car if it's stock. I ran my 15.499 in late september where it starts to cool down lots where i live. My car was bone stock but i was running my staggered 20" wheels with 245's and 285's. I probably would of been faster if i had my stock 18's.

i have since modded my car and eager to see what times i can pull. even with my mods i'm hopeing to get a 15 flat or high 14 but who know i could get a better time

Its Stock. I have done the lower panel mod and added a K&N drop in but not all that sure how much difference that would make over a bone stock one. maybe .100 of a second who knows. I will be sure you let you all know how my track run goes.
