I'm right there with you Charlie...as I will be doing the same thing when I install the converter also. The extra protection it affords is more than worth the price/effort rather than risk not running one. Made that mistake once many years ago....never again!!

The Dex 6 is an awesome fluid, but I feel the same as you. I can do a real nice cooler faster then I can take off the headers and pull trans. Use Dex 6 only. It is a Synthetic.

I am going to be meeting PaycheckG8 today, after that I am going to look at how much space and location to mount. Not going to need a huge one.

Charlie, Good news! The wife just gave the green light to the Long Tube Header system (either ARH or Kooks (when they come out)).

Now to convince her of the Torque Converter & Trans. cooler. If you're doin' that, I'm doin' that..... :wink2:

Way to go Mike. Accounting hasn't approved the converter for me yet.

It looks like a 5in x 2in thick x 13-15 wide should be plenty. Make sure it is the 19-25 fin 1
