Does anyone think the intake duct for the gto would fit the g8 i compared pictures they look the same it like 60 dollars at the dealer thinking about ordering it might help the throttle response.

It should fit, but the response will come when you increase the amount of air it can get.

The throttle response is most likely caused by the extremely aggressive torque management on the transmission as well as that.

Alot of people are complaining about the lag.

If you are talking about the intake tube between the MAF and the throttle body, then it does NOT fit. The G8's motor sits a little further back so the angle is not quite right. I bought one off of ebay thinking that it would work, but it needs an extension from the throttle body of 4” or so. It is not a direct fit.
