Just picked up my 08 GT last week, White Hot with Onyx/Red leather. Absolutely love this car. Thanks to everyone for sharing so much information about it on this board!

The mods are now going to begin, and the first thing to go will be the subwoofers. I had two 10" Solobaric L7's with a JL250x1 amp, so the stock subs just don't quite cut it. I really like JL products, and I came up with these:

Is this even feasable? I would think that the stock amp would have close to enough power if it's 230 watts. Does anyone know the ohm rating of the stock subs?

You probably want to just throw a box with a couple of tens or 12 in the trunk. You are never going to get real deep bass with 8s. Even if you could the free wir oe setup sucks for aftermarket speakers.

I like JL Audio too, best sounding subs I had. I still have an old 10W3 up in the closet but I'm going to wait awhile before tearing into the back deck...
