edmanet 07-26-2008, 12:05 PM Anyone have a axleback system for the G8GT ?? StolenFox has retired and isn't making them anymore. I ordered the RotoFab CAI. I want to put the axleback on next, then get a vector tune. Unless the axlebacks wouldn't effect the tune...I'd get the tune first. But it do sound mo better! roSSco 07-26-2008, 07:01 PM A local speed shop is very interested in getting their hands on my car to see what kinds of things they can fab up. They have made nice STBs and SFCs for F-bodies in the past. One of the things I will have them look into is an axle back system. It looks to very quite easy. My buddy has a stock LS2 goat. After I put my Magnaflow cat-back on, the G8 was a bit louder. Especially at WOT. I'll probably sell mine once I go with the AR Headers since it appears it'll just be too damn loud ;) but that'll be a ways out. With what mufflers ??? yes, i used the stock tips. they're magnaflow mufflers. any muffler shop should be able to make an axleback just like the stolenfox axlebacks. then just have the shop replace the 3 center mufflers/resonators with a X/H pipe or straight piping. | ||
