Boys, and a few gals that drop in from time to time, better grab a beer and be sitting for this one. I am!

Today is a day that will live in infamy. There i was , minding my own business while waiting for the red light to turn green, when all of a sudden a brand new midnight black dodge challenger pulls up right next to me. I just about sheet my pants! It looked fabulous! Quiet. Stealthy. It's wedge nose looks like it can cut the wind, like a hot knife through butter. I was in awe. Light changed and he drove off, quietly. I was like WTF do i do. Next light we pull up again, i holler out, nice car! He looks at me like i was beneath his level of dignity. Damn, what a jerk i thought. So i holler out again, nice car, you wanna go for it. Again, he gives me this sheety smile and the light changes and he drives off, not fast, but quietly. I stay behind, wasn't sure if he REALLY knew what he was up against, as i wasn't sure either..lol was playing it safe, know what i mean.

Third light, the longest stretch till the next light too! I holler out, hey can that piece of sheet run or what.....must have hit a nerve....rev's came up, front dropped, holy sheet, he's going for it...I power brake to bout 1500 or so, light changes, tires squeeling engine roaring to life and we're off! I'm up 1/4 cars length, took him off the line, sweet i say to myself....god i hope he's running stock.....1/2 car ahead....Sheeet! hitting 80, saying to myself again, come on betsy, don't let me down...passing 100, i can just see his head lights in my side mirror....next light fast approaching...hit the brakes......WOW! my heart felt like it was gonna bust out through my chest! Palms sweaty and i can feel the sweat running down my back. I blow off a whew and wipe my forehead as if i was working in the coal mines.

I come to the light and look...and look and the little prick took the turn off!! Guess he didn't have the balls to face me after that....lol

oh well...gotta tell ya...it was a rush! I would love to make that run again, without the stress induced by the sheer presence of the dodge.

Wow! Good run, I have yet to see one of those on the road. I'm a little suprised with the outcome. Everything I've read says they are supposed to do the quater in 13 flat. Nice kill!

Thank You big brother, for avenging me! LOL!

I was getting into mine last night when this gray Doge Charger stops in the middle of the streets and blips his throttle.

..WHAM!WHAM! INMEDIATLY 7500rpm shoot out of the hood, sparks shooting out of the exhaust!
So I reach for my steering wheel and blew my horn twice...Have a happy night my man!

He had to have some serious gear under the hood, he had the wheels, tires i could see...Exhaust i could hear weren't stock, the response from the throttle blip? Nitrous I wouldn't rule out!!

I can see I'll be dropping a 427 in this thing before it's over! :drink:

I may have been there and done that, but if this BS continues, I'll be there once more for the Gipper! LOL!

Cheers!
