Seen a used GT w/prem and about 6000miles for $27K, is that too much or about right?

It said the MSRP was $31,245 thats just the prem pack right?

It's a Dealers Demo(would you mind?, since it's still under warrenty)

It must have a sunroof then. Premium and Sport pkg is 31,845.

I test drove a couple G8 GTs on the dealer demos and each salesman encouraged me to beat the crap out of the car. I realize that newer cars do not need the break in process that older cars required, but it still bothered me. I promise you can find a new one with the same options for 29K-30K if you bargain and utilize rebates. Your choice.

I've seen a few guys state that they bought their low mileage ones for 25k. Being a demo chances are good that its been ragged on.

Given that the model year is about over and there is 6k miles on the car, it ought to be no more than $23K. For $27K, you ought to be close to a new 2008. Got mine with sunroof and premium in May for $28K and change.

Agreed! Seems a bit pricey to me too.

Is that fair?

$28K and change after receiving the Supplier Price, a $1,000 Loyalty Rebate (no longer offered), $500 in limited G8 dealership coupons (no longer available) and $1,000 GM Card earnings (which not eveyone has).

Well said 'Small Dealer' these great deals need to be stated with what was applied to the purchase. I contacted a power buyer that will sell anybody a G8 at invoice price. I also apply for a conquest rebate. That will land you in the mid 29s for an 08. PM me if you want me to forward you his contact info.

Hey, that was when the car was brand new and in limited supply. I got a great deal. But now G8s are available and the 2008 model run is ended. YOU ought to be offering $2K off sticker for an untouched 2008 at least now. Or whatever GM's current offer is. And you can still get the GM card $$$. IN fact the limit of $1000 on a 2008 might be raised as the 2009s come in.

Remember he said the car had 6K miles on it. It is NOT a new car. YOu buy a new car and drive it off the lot and it loses $5 in value.

Should say $5K in value

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm soooo wanting a G8 new or used. I've even contemplated a V6 just because they are less money.

I don't get a suppliers discount(how do you get this anyway?), or have a GM card but I do have a 99 Bonneville that I "could have" used as a loyalty discount but I owe $4000 on it so it really wouldn't matter.
