Know a Guy thats got a C63, sometime this summer we will have a friendly run. tempted to make it interesting and put $100 on it. Would that be wise? or will I be $100 poorer. mods are in sig, time is before headers and tune

I'd think with the tune and headers you could take him, but it would be a good race. Worth the $100 either way.

IMHO, with your mods, it's a drivers race. The C63s are very quick. Nice cars too.

Stock 1/4 mile is 12.5 - 12.7, so I would say it's a drivers race.

I met a guy this past weekend who had a 2010 with the carbon fiber lip spoiler and special upgraded package with oversized red calipers. He reved the engine and it sounded like a lambo. I would assume to stay the hell away from him with my limited mods, but who knows with yours?

You have a fairly quick foot so you shouldn't be left sleeping. I think you will take him. I guess we will have a better idea after tonight at the track. Hopefully, you will have a new low 12 number for your signature.

If you ran a 12.6 before headers and tune, you should beat him. Just be careful to get a good launch if you're street racing.... if you could borrow some Nitto's, that'd be nice

You may have a good chance with your mods but if that AMG has any mods you might be consistantly seeing its german tail lights. You might wanna take that $100 bucks and use it towards another mod like a converter or a cam to ensure the outcome!

Yeah be careful if he has any type of mods...unfortunately I am local to two of the quickest C63's, one has just headers, intake and tune and runs low 11s. I think he had a resonator delete, intake and tune and went 11.8 on street tires previously. If its stock throw some drag radials on and give him hell.

The C63 is bone stock. I just trapped at 110.8 into a 35mph head/crosswind last night with ****ty DA. It'll be a good race.

My brother just picked up a 04 Subaru WRX STI with a Crawford 2.65 liter stroker long block put down 395whp@20psi. He just showed up with it and is doing an oil change now, hope the video camera has a good zoom lol

should be a close race. I ran one once from a dig, he instigated it, but was still able to walk him.

well those things do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds or so ..quater mile in around 12.3@ 116mph. Yeah i think you are going to be short 100 bucks if you race him. They have like a 7 speed automatic rite?

An E63 would run that fast. C63 are in that 4.3 second range 0-60. pretty sure they both have 7 speeds. I'll still have $100 worth of fun if I lose:driving:

i remember reading that some where, so i looked it up

while a more restrained squeeze yields a fuss-free launch, followed by a hair-raising 3.9-second explosion to 60 mph, easily outrunning the other two. Upshifts happen quickly, leaving just the smallest interruption in the surge of power on the way to a blazing 12.3-second quarter-mile at 116 mph, and the Benz keeps charging hard until it runs headfirst into its 153-mph speed governor.

Also inside line tested it vs the m3. 0-60mph 4.1 seconds and 1/4 mile time is about 12.5@113.5mph.

Thats the avg bout what i have seen 0-60 in 3.9-4.4
1/2 mile time 12.2-12.5 (116-113mph traps)

116 mph traps... yeah, I hope you're ok with losing that hundred, unless you just KILL him off the light because of your track experience. You'll need to... 4 mph is a lot to try and hold off in a close run.
