Where can I go in the area to get a decent deal on a G8 GT? Most dealers that I've been to are either liars or thieves. The ones that said they would "deal" had a V6 or none available.

I'm qualified for GM Supplier pricing. I'm willing to wait until closer to the end of the year if I have to if needed to get a better deal.

I went to Andy Mohr in Noblesville, IN. Largest Pontiac dealer in the state. 37 South, exit 7 69 north.

I checked their web-site out and talked to someone on the chat icon. More info to come.

It's a shame that one dealer has so many cars and others can get none or only one V6 after everyone has taken all the GTs. Their web site showed something like

11 -2009 GTs
02 -2009 sedans
15 -2008 sedans

Not from Indiana, but Southwest Ohio...

My dealer in Dayton did not have any GTs either, but they are fantastic to work with, so they "traded" one of their GTs that was en route with another local dealership that had GTs in stock. That's how I got mine.

If you find a dealer you like, just tell them you want to buy from them and they should go out and find a car you want. Just because they dont have it on the lot doesn't mean they can't get it. I had to wait a total of 3 days to get mine.

I'm waiting to hear from a local dealer to tell me something. When he finally could tag a car all the GTs were gone. He got a V6 and it's still on the lot after over a month. Probably will stay there for a long time.

A family member works at Jim Moore Pontiac in Nappanee, pretty sure they had a couple GT's. Ask for Sue.....

Reeves in Greenwood has one black 08GT and five 09 GT's in stock. All five 09's are loaded GT7's They have a Pacific Slate and Sport Red. Give them a call.

there was an 09 MGM fully loaded at Dugan in Avon. that's where i got mine. they didn't try to give me the run-around using GMS either. i gave them the number and they honored it with no questions asked.

I had my Pedders suspension done at Reeve's. Very nice people.
Andy Mohr is a top notch dealership. Thy put on my underdrive pulley, and know about my mods.

I think I might take a drive over to Reeves. Nothing but good words about them from the local GTO owners.

It's Black or Pacific Slate Metallic. GT6 or GT7. My wife doesn't care if it has a sunroof or not.

The owner Bill Reeves is a class act. Jamey Smith has been his right hand man in service and fixed operations for 15 years. Eric the lead Pedders Tech is as good as they come. They have O9 GTs ready and waiting. Reeves is one of the few Pontiac Dealerships that can not only sell you a G8, bu they can Pedderise it and finance the entire package. Be sure to find Jamey Smith before you talk to Sales. Jamey is the man!

The Sport Red looks very good in person. I test drove a beautiful Pacific Slate Metallic GT while I was there. I ended up within an inch of taking it home.

It was a black 08. My wife wants the 09 Pacific Slate Metallic. I'm also trying to get a GMS friends PIN number to save another $1000-$1500.

If you are paying for a new car and adding additional pieces. I want the pieces on the new car that I'm paying for. If the dealer is just taking brand new parts off to resale them later, I'd rather keep them in my own garage. It would also be a waste to throw new parts away if they did not. Either way, the purchaser should retain the parts.

The bushes that came out went in the garbage. Once pressed out the garbage can is all they are good for. I suppose a dealer could use the OE sway bars and struts for collision repairs -- but they would have to be stated as used parts. The same is true for GM warranty. The Dealership has to get the warranty parts from GM and not out of the scrap pile. When you meet Jamey and Eric of check out Reeves, Jamey and Eric on the Indy Goat Herd you'll hear nothing but good things and fully understand that there are nothing but best practices in the Reeves shop. Jamey is probably the best Fixed Ops Director in the Pontiac Buick system.

The shop is as clean on an empty Saturday as it is on a busy Monday. Reeves has a very special service staff and facility.

I talked to Jamey today. I won't be getting the Pedders upgrade on the G8 at this time. I'll be upgrading my GTO 1st on suspension mods. He explained alot over the phone so doing the G8 in the future will almost be certain.

Yes he is. Very professional and easy - straight forward to talk to.

Yeah, I bought it. The wife got to drive it home, she can't drive my GTO because it has a six speed manual.

It looks great! Love the color. How does it drive?

Drives good. Too bad I didn't drive the Pedderized G8 that was inside on the showroom floor to compare it to.

I'm still fumbling around, trying to know/use all the controls.

I'm very impress at the sales staff @ Reeves. This was the easiest car purchase I have ever made at a dealership.

With supplier pricing I pretty sure theres no better deal but I can check if you want. I have a Red 09 GT comming in supposely its a new color this year thats waht I heard should be hear end of this week or next
