So does that mean the LS3 puts out ~330 hp to the wheels? I'm sorry if I'm misreading.

Isn't a 30% drivetrain loss a little much? Not a jab, just curious. I thought they were more like 15-20%. Thanks

I am assuming he is using BHP, so that 30% is not just driveline but also all parasitic losses...

That is very good news. I have a couple of questions.

What is the weight of that car compared to the GT/GXP?

Any 1/4 mile times stock or otherwise?

Thanks.

Going on some of our top tuners advice that have dynoed engines on the engine dyno and then put them in the car and dynoed on chasie dyno ( rollers) they say work on 30% for auto

So Stock LS3 = L76+CAI+Long Tubes+Tune

Long Tubes, Intake, Tune on LS3 worth about 50 whp, or 475hp @ crank (using 20% loss).

Hmm..makes the GXP look pretty inviting.

Restless what kind of mileage do you see?

Thanks, that's pretty decent mileage..not too far off of what the L76 is getting.

That PowerTorque Dyno is particularly "low" for an Aussie Dyno too.
It's quite well known for being very conservative.

Hmmm..those torque number look huge..

661 NM = 487 lb/ft (.737 conversion factor).
725 NM = 534 lb/ft

Is my conversion right? ~500 lb/ft is a stump puller....
