Looks pretty good. From what I read, that is the GT version.

Official GM photo.

I predict the GXP version (that they have not yet admitted to) will come with the 2.0 DI engine from the Solstice GXP

Would they really do that? Isn't the Vibe a joint project with Toyota? However if they did a turbo inline 4 with the AWD they really could get some more of the tuner market. The cobalt SS was the first step but couldnt get there. The Kappa GXP/Redline or the HHR SS really don't fall in that category.

I don't know why they feel compelled to include that gremlin-esque style rear window... why not copy a little from the Germans and have it follow the style of the windows on the rear doors.

Well, it is, but they could. And here I just assumed tha tthe last couple years lack of awd and only one engine choice was a GM only deal but that is how the Matrix has been peddled as well. Toyota plans on unveiling their new version on 10/31. Note what looks more Pontiac-like in the grill under cover.

I just can't get past that back window! I did a really crappy quick job in making that window look a little more "normal."

And does anyone else think those headlights are pretty close to what came on the pre-2008 Magnum?

Reported in the oz newspapers 19th October that Bob Lutz has confirmed the Torana TT36 concept will form the basis of what most probably be called the Pontiac G6. Rear wheel drive and being built in the states (Lordstown Ohio) to be ready for the market in 2011. Development is already underway......and the target is the M3, but much cheaper.
