ok so I got my modified files back, trying to program and it just sits there at 0% with a message it's trying to talk to the interface or something?? what am I doing wrong?? now i'm afraid to close out of it or unplug the cable and screw up my ECM...

NVM... decided 0% = 0% so it must not've started yet. so I closed out of it finally after 20 minutes, restarted it and it worked that time around

Mine did that. The VMS program didn't like my laptop and nothing I could do chsnged it.

I had to use a regular "house" computer. Tower on the passenger floor, screen on the seat and keyboard on the armrest.

Looked funny. Worked fine.
