In the states here, we call your triple center stack gauges, the "atari gauges" (reference to the old 8-bit computer of the 1980's) because our model year 2008 Pontiac G8 had the block "8bit like" gauges, and that's what they've came to be called, at least over here.

2008 example:

They got such hatred in the 2008 model year reviews, that GM cancelled the "feature" and as a result (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/12/useless-pontiac-g8-auxiliary-gauges-going-away-for-2009/), stock 2009 G8's had just a blank "cubbyhole" in there instead. SOURCE (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/12/useless-pontiac-g8-auxiliary-gauges-going-away-for-2009/)




No production G8's ever got the triple "improved" version of those gauges, but they're somewhat available (very limited) on the aftermarket.

But here's mine... a different twist on the same concept. :)

Yea the 3 gauges look a bit better. I like how you've changed the colour of your ones. Looks awesome. Did you do the do the dash cluster lighting the same? Was it a hard mod?
