Just wondering if any of you have looked into the new track being built in eastern PA. It sounds like they just made it past the last legal battle.
Looks like a cheaper alternative to Monticello

Hey Dom. This course looks like it will be really cool. Talk about elevation changes.
Have you ever been down to the NJ Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ? It's not bad.

Yes, I usually get to Millville about once a month, I like it.
I like the flexibility the new track intends to offer. Like a golf course, you reserve a time then show up. Seems like it would work well with a busy travel schedule.
Do you get to Millville often?

Reserving a time and showing up is great. That's what I need.
Been to the Motorsports Park in Millville 3 times. My car was only on the track once (2 yrs back) for what started out to be 5 or so lunch-time parade laps where I was invited to attend via a Corvette Club that turned into the Corvettes turning the wick up to have some fun and me staying right behind them so I wouldn't look like an idiot. It became immediately clear to me that stock tires, stock rotors & brakes, and stock suspension were not up to the task. My poor car.
My buddy AL, "Monty", has a friend who trailers his car down there quite a bit.
I'd like to see them build their 1/4-mile track that they've been talking about.
PS: Let me know when you go again, I wouldn't mind checking it out.

You'd have to be a member to go there though? I'm too far away for a $1,500 a year membership, and that's not even considering the $10,000 you have to put down in the first place.

I should be going back to NJMP on the Oct 10. A completely stock car in Novice on this day is fine. They run with a pace car, limit speed, and no passing. It is more controlled than your typical HPDE novice group. If this is only your second time trying it, it is not a bad way to try it out before you start modding. You can also show up for the food and just watch, but there's not as much fun in that. PM me if you want to know more.
