I might be trading my car in. I have a 93 tune with Rotofab intake, Solo HFC's welded to Kooks LT 1 7/8, and Solo Mach Shorty cat back. My question is if I flashed the stock tune, will I get a cel? Or should I just get an 87 tune from VMS?

yep. You'd need to take off the headers and replace with stock manifolds and cats (either HFC's with the O2 extenders or stock cats) to have the rear O2 sensors not throw a code.

With headers, it's gonna happen when you're "stock tuned". It's not healthy to run stock tuned with headers anyways... but if you're trading it in, that's THEIR problem, amirite?

I would give the tuning cable with the car when you trade it in, otherwise, with VMS's locked tunes, you're doing a disservice to the next owner, depending on their needs.

I waant to lower my payment, get better gas mileage, and have more of a family car. I think I'll just leave the tune alone if it happens. I'm waiting for aproval for a lease. If I'm not aprroved, Ill forget about it.
