met up with some guys from LS1tech at Orlando Speed World and got some runs in... let me start of by saying i was hunting for either a 13 second slip or a 100+ trap...

full street prep(37 PSI all around), 3/4 of a tank, t/c off on all runs, loaded up to at least 1200 on all runs, 4th run load up was about 1600ish, 95 degrees, DA was 2933 ft, no real cool down b/t runs...
1st run i messed up and hit into manual mode in 1st gear and bounced off the limiter in 2nd and 3rd upshift...

1st run 2nd run 3rd run 4th run
60': 2.299 2.208 2.290 2.201
1/8: 9.527 9.319 9.397 9.185
trap: 73.84 76.91 77.43 78.47
1/4: 14.62 14.287 14.357 14.082
trap: 98.18 99.86 99.88 99.97

needless to say, i was absolutely pissed at the last run... i actually scared the girl who handed me my slip b/c of my yelling/displeasure, lol... it was ok though, the gto guys were telling me they run 13 flat @ 110 all day long in good air, and they were running 13.8s every run... they and i are convinced, in good air, this thing is good for 13.4s and 105 traps... above all else, it was consistent, as were the gto's, so i am happy...

best corrected slip is 13.51@104.5... i hate FL in the summer, but when you northerners are dealing with snow, i'll be at the strip setting records, lol...

oh and i killed a LS1 camaro, a S10 with a turbo, and a PT cruiser... the gto got me on my second run by a bit... i tree'd everyone (no r/t above .5), but the gto ran me down fairly easy, but only had .4 and 5 MPH on me...

Awesome man, great runs for such crappy air, especially the 4th run. I haven't seen a stock GT in the 13s all summer, so definitely dont be discouraged. The best time I've managed this summer was 14.25 and got the same response from the other guys at the track. They said I would be looked at about .4 - .5 difference come this fall when it cools off and the humidity gets out of here.

Cant wait to see if they're right

for our SRT brethren, there was a SRT8 GC with full bolt ons, full exhaust, and a 75 shot running 13.5's @101 and a magnum r/t running 15.0's @92, lol...

MIR and VMP, as well as most of the mid-atlantic east coast tracks, get good air in summer... find the track elevation, and the weather stats the day of your run, and i'll give you your correction... plus, there are a few with similar mods (of yours) that are running 12.7s @107...

Yeah I went to capitol raceway. Track prep there is so so, but I hear great things about MIR so i think me and my crew will probably take a trip there soon. The only thing about those guys running 12.7's is they never produce a time slip for us to see. If its such a big milestone I would atleast produce a time slip to back it up :/ ya know...

MIR and VMP are two of the best tracks ive been to... gainesville is so-so and OSW is pretty bad... i cant wait for Moroso to be finished, that track should be awesome... and i trust at least one of the guys that said he ran a 12.7@107, he has no reason to lie...
