I Just ordered rear tail lights from them, called first to check availability was told "there is plenty". Guess What..? There are tons of complaints about them. Google them. Stay away from them they are a resale company, of which they DON'T state. They have NO stock. This is the second and the last time I order anything from them. The first time a piece was defective (dash Kit) and did not honor the replacement. Mysteriously that post here disappeared. The moderators should not advertise ripoff companies. If they are up front about it people would appreciate it. CARID is not worth the hassle ,there are plenty of legit companies to deal with.

Nobody attacked you. Don't feel guilty.. LOL. I am sure they pay to be listed as a sponsor and if you need the money over the wellbeing of forum members. I understand.

Your complaints should be adressed with carID offline.
It's between you and the company to work out a means of satisfaction.
After doing so, you are more than welcome to give buyer/seller feedback.
It looks like you have tried to resolve this before making this post so carID can choose how to respond to you. (or not)

The moderation staff does not conceal complaints. Go through the proper customer service channels before using the message forum for it.
The moderation staff has no vested interest in who becomes a supporting vendor for this board.
They have no control over that other than providing sales contact info to companies that are interested in becoming supporting vendors.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that everyone on the moderation staff has purchased products and services from supporting & non-supporting vendors alike.

The moderation staff is entirely voluntary and receives no money for their efforts here.
We are G8 enthusiasts that have accepted the task of enforcing the forum rules here.
These rules don't hinder the well being of forum members as you've stated in this case.
Simply do what you would do if you were unhappy with something you got from a brick-n-mortar store.
Go back and voice your displeasure with them in an attempt for some sort of resolution.
After that is done you are welcome to give a review of the service you received.

I did and posted there response.. End this childish conversation.. Don't appreciate when I give forum members a heads up. Then I look like The bad guy. I am not the one (nor you) lying to customers. This has nothing to do with moderators. Have a nice Thanksgiving.

I was just trying to give some facts about how posts like these are handled and the role of the moderators here.
You mischaracterized us with a contrived consipracy theory about concealment and receiving money for it.
Everyone who is reading this can see that and we have a right to defend ourselves against such things.

You shouldn't feel bad about telling your experience here and I'm sorry if in some way I contributed to that.
Many times, experiences such as this are even better for businesses. It can show their potential
customers how they'd handle the bad instead of the good.

CarID is entitled to respond to this and I hope they do.
There are two sides to everything and this is their opportunity to be heard.
