Anyone seen the stock 19s chromed? Any one know of any company that is doing the chrome exchange yet?

Mine are chromed, but the dealer that had the car originally sent them out to be done. I think it was well worth it, the chrome really sets off the red. The alloy didn't do it for me at all.

i saw a g8 with chrome 19's at peoria pontiac the other day. don't know if they had it done or came that way?

go talk to ty or doug the owner and they will let you know.

on the pontiac website under accessories, they have something for the 2009.

Does anyone have the 2008 Pontiac G8 brochure? If so open it and turn the left side of the book to page 5. I'm almost certain that the G8 pictured has chrome 19s. Looks nice but I would love to see what they look like in a picture on someone's car. If you all have a book, tell me if I'm crazy or not. :)

I respectfully DISAGREE, I think chrome is so classic and more a standard to wheels than "played out" I'd say gold plate was played out or spinners, but chrome I kinda' think is a staple to a quality eye catching wheel

Body color wheels IS (are?) "played out" but looked sharp on 90 SSE in blue

I wouldn't necessarily say it's played out yet. Of course, we are seeing newer, arguably more exciting, styles on the market. But chrome has a certain classic, almost timeless, quality.

Now if you want something that is played out: monochromatic rims are played out. Those Pontiacs of the early to mid-90's with same color body/rims are HORRENDOUS!

haha ok so 'played out' was the wrong term. I just think on a performance sedan they look wrong... Wheels are all personal preference, I'm just simply stating my preference.

Are you sure? The pages that say "Competitive spirit. Overwhelming capability. Quiet confidence"? Look at the luster on those wheels! No other picture of G8's mirror like those! Oh well, it was worth a shot! :) :judge:

Waaahhh! What/ I used to love those lights back when I was a pre-teen! Dang iw anted those when I grew up lol! and of the lights that go around the tag, and some Daytons, and I can't forget the fuzzy dice and the hydraulics!

Chrome wheels haven't looked good on cars since the 1960s. That's the only thing I dislike about the Solstice's styling. But this is just my opinion. My 19" wheels will tastefully remain silver.
