Well, we'll talk about these two vehicles plenty of times on these boards.

So what do you folks think? Especially seeing as used V's and SRT's will be less in price, with very similiar performance.

I know used versus new is no fair comparison, but...it's a new board, and talking is fun. Especially about the rivals!

Even tho i like GM I have heard of toooooo many problems with the V's
I like the styling cues of the charger and magnum srt8
But i'd take a G8 over an srt because of price and i like GM

I think I'd rather have a G8 than a used CTS-v. Now a NEW CTS-v would be a different story since the CTS just underwent a major overhaul, but I'd be plenty happy with a L98 powered G8 against a LS2 or LS6 powered CTS-v.

Now it would be a tough call on the SRT8 vehicles except for one tiny flaw - they're all slushboxes. That makes it an easy call for me to go with the G8.

Personally I think it's like this right now, CTS-V > G8 > SRT.
