I guess this thread belongs here rather than the kill section because I didn't quite get the chance to take off with the Caddy. Tonight I had the fortune to be sitting at a red light beside a CTS V first ever I have seen live. He was in the right lane which ended just past the lights. However unfortunately there was a Ford F150 in front of me. Light turns green and the Ford takes off and I'm right behind. I don't want that Caddy to cut in between me and the Ford.
I'm hearin the Caddy start hittin it, and he passes the Ford easy on the inside. I wish that truck wasn't there, cause in that split second he hesitated I would have had him..... Maybe. His car did sound nice though.

Yeah I think so as well because I had the fortunate opportunity to race one on my way to work, if you would actually call it a race. it was more of a lets see how fast the cts-v really is. It livedd up to everything I thought. He was pulling me from about 40 to 100 before I had to shut it make my turn to work, but I was stoked. The guy was cool we waved and I went to work with a huge smile.

Ok guys, I appreciate how you think what i said was funny or odd and glad you got a chuckle. All i'm saying is it was nice so sit beside a CTS-V. I had not seen one in my area before. He was in a right hand lane and intent on cutting in on a ford truck in front of me, because his lane ended across the road, but i noticed he was a bit slow or hesitant in doing so. So I thought (pipe dream) that if i was positioned in the fords spot i could have beat him across the road [B]IF/B] (big if) he took off the way he did. I understand if we were in a true race he could have blown the doors off me. Even if he did beat me across the road it would be the first car to beat me and i would have smiled. So far the only mods the car has are my lead foot and a set of custom alloy wheels (no pics). C.A.I. coming in the spring.

isn't zepcom running v6 18's as his winter set? i like the v6 wheels more than the gt 18's i would run them if i got a deal on them. i would probably v6 disguise mine if more people actually knew anything about my car.

anyway back on topic, not a snowball's chance in hell that would happen even if you had a gxp. the CTS-V is stupid fast! my question is what will be faster a ZL1 or a CTS-V?
