Anyone out there

San Jose.

I told my friends I was getting a G8 GT, and they (perhaps 6-8 of them) said they had never seen one on the road. A month later and they still have only seen mine. (Most of them drive douchebag Beemers and Audis).
Went to dinner and the valet parking dudes were impressed, knew of the car, but said mine was the first one they had seen.
There are not many of us G8 owners here by the Bay, but that makes it more fun.

Yeah thanks for the info The guy i talked to said he didnt see why not and that they would love to work on a G8 but im still waitin to get my exhaust done $$$

I think I'm close enough that you can count me. Live in Concord and work in Richmond (from Crocket to Berkeley) but was working Oakland to San Leandro for two years. What is the Corvette place you guys mentioned?

Just got mine on 9/5/08. It's a G8 GT, Maverick Silver/Onyx, Premium, Sport, Sunroof. First goal is to try to get this thing in the 12's.
Anyone else? Any ideas? Exhaust, CAI, Tune, Etc. Just got mine so I am spending to much time on the internet and not enough in the car. Damn internet!

ya I've been lurking over here as I probably plan to pick up the 2010 Camaro as it's running basically the same chassis as these... although it will be the "ZetaII" chassis :)

I'm considering buying a GT in San Jose. I went to the dealership on Capitol Expressway yesterday and I left thinking I kinda don't want to buy mine from them. I'm just wondering if you guys mind posting which dealer you got yours from. Out the door prices too, if you don't mind.

I was in Clayton yesterday and will be again today. Molluk Dr. just off Keller ridge. I got a B-day party there at around 1 pm. If you are close by and want to hear the Corsas let me know.

Sorry I didn't see this post until just now. I have actually heard your Corsas. I was sitting at the new Italian restaurant Bella Restaurant when you drove by last week. Would like to see the car...maybe we can get together sometime this coming weekend.

I wonder if it was me? I didn't go to the party until around PM. Some time around 4:30 or so I let my friend take it out for a test drive. We didn't take it in front of the restaurant but I guess it's possible you may have seen me on Oakhurst or Clayton Rd. It would be nice to get another meet together. Any one else local for a get together?
