So I was headed to lunch today (1/19/12) with a co-worker and noticed a yellow G8 with a trans am style ram air hood.....was that you? This was in Westminster, CO at the intersection of HWY 36 and Church Ranch Blvd.

A yellow G8 with a ram air hood? Sure it wasn't a GTO?

Unless they made a four door GTO that I'm not aware of then I'm pretty sure it was a G8. It looked a little pieced together so I'm fairly certain it was a custom hood. The hood was more like a Trans am hood than a GTO hood, it looked like giant flared nostrils.

There is a yellow GXP Firehawk if you guys can remember. Maybe the collector let it go and someone customized it...who knows?

Oh yeah, I forgot about those. They should have used a pearl, every factory paint color is better looking IMO.

To the best of my knowledge no G8 aftermarket hood exists that doesn't look like stock. If it does I'd like to know where they got it.

I think the aussies have come out with after market replacement nostrils that fit our hoods that are a little more pronounced. I'll see if I can find a pic.

I believe that was the only yellow fire hawk GXP! Very nice!

Wow not a yellow fan but that color on the Firehawk works for me.

No pictures as we were just driving by but that color looks about right.
