Are there any good books on learning how to tune?
Ruled out the Greg Banish book... I know PM-FL has a tuning school workbook with a ton of resources, but it is pricey...

I like How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems By Hartman, MotorBooks Publisher.
There's also an older book Chevrolet Fuel Injection by Watson, the terms are different but remarkably the concepts are the same. This book deals with late 80 fuel injection technology.
You can also learn quite a bit by reading forums like HP Tuner's forum.

Yeah apparently Banish is known for less than stellar results... but after reading the book it's not that bad. It's more of a textbook of terminology and adjustments to make rather than here's exactly what to do. I think the HP Tuners help files are sufficient. I may buy the PMFL tuning school book too...
