Ok, I would like to preface that this story is not a race. I don't street race. It is interesting none the less...
So I am heading up the on ramp to I75 in Central Florida and behind me comes an orange G8 like a bat out of hell. My car is a panther black G8 GT. I'm thinking ' cool another G8 owner '. This guy kept riding next to me and flooring it. There was a ton of traffic so I just watched in amazement. To top it off, I noticed after his first WOT spurt that the car was obviously a V6 (single tips and no GT badge). What a turd. I was seriously embarrased to be driving the same type car next to this guy. Finally the traffic let up and floored it, leaving him way behind, not as a race but just to get away from the idiot.

And to think...for just a few dollars more....he could have had a V8.
Same church, wrong pew.

Don't feel bad I go through this ALOT with other Magnum owners(base models) in my area...Its always the person that doesn't have knowledge of his car(SXT) and my car(SRT)...:slap:

That crazy..I Just found out there is a small price difference between the V8's and V6's...

I concur with most here that the v6 is an unwise purchasing decision, but to each his own. It just irritates the hell outta me when someone driving one acts like that. Seriously, make us all look dumb.

Gas prices are high, that is not a revelation. What's strikes me as funny is when you hear people complaining about how much it took them to fill up at the gas station as they are pulling their $3.00 energy drink out of the cooler. It's all about priorities I guess - long live the V8
