Well I am trying to decide what wheel option to go with when I get my G8. I really like the Breyton GTS rims in 19" which weigh 27lbs. I would like to know what the various stock rims wieigh though. Also if anyone has weights of various aftermarket rims throw them in here too and I'll start a list. I know alot of people car more about looks then weight but it would be a good tool for those that are interested in performance gains (like myself).

Stock 18"
Stock V6 18"
Breyton Race GTS 19" 27lbs

Didn't weigh them before boxing so estimate 3 lbs for the cardboard and tape but the weight afterwards was 30 pounds per tire & wheel.

You really need to get the wheel and tire weight although the stock 18s and 19s both weigh the same.

Don't even want to get into the weight of the tires. Every tire weighs a different amount so to try and sort them all out would be impossible. Where did you find the stock weights at on Tirerack?

Pretty sure those are tire weights, not wheel weights. If Im wrong and missing something do you have a direct link?

Wait, it was 30lbs for a tire/wheel combo yet the stock tires weigh 27lbs? Somethings missing here.

Forged wheels can weigh under 20 lbs. Cast wheels are heavier.

Yep, would really like the Breyton GTS-R's to come in a 19". The 18" for the G8 is only 18lbs.

It was stock tire over 2 lb lighter after I let (Australian :D ) air out
