If the G8 ships with this :quoties2: Lesser V8:quoties2: I think I will be holding out for the Camaro. Atleast the rumor mill on the Camaro is 425+ hp in a :quoties2:new V8:quoties2: possible the LS3.

Don't forget that a Hi-powered GXP G8 is probably in the works.

at 4000lbs it better be super hi powered :)

The L98 is a great engine and you can do 0-60 in under 5.5 seconds. The extar 40 or so horses can be found in other ways...:)

I think the new Camaro looks like ****, and if I wanted a new 2dr muscle machine I'd hold out of the oh so sexy Challenger.

Neither matters because I need a sedan.

I already have my 2 door and I dont plan on getting rid of the goat. I think the G8 will be a nice addition to the garage. If they make another GTO though I might need to rob a bank and find a house with a larger garage.

I just cant see the camaro aging well. I mean look at the 05 Mustang...where can they go with it. The new Camaro is going to be a great car, but it just looks too showcarish for me.

Ill take the 4 door all day. Give it a blower and 500+ ft lbs will handle 4000 lbs all day long.

Well, I bought the last new car as far as me and the wife, when I got the Goat. So she'll get grabs next. Maybe she'll trade her '02 Rendevous for the G8 and I'll grab up the Camaro when it comes out... or about a year or two after it comes out. Not making the same mistake as I did with the GTO. (I'm still waiting for GM to send me bigger brakes and 50 more horsepower in the mail to compensate.)

I've brought this up with Mustang guys all time... I think Ford put themselves in a corner by going retro. What are they gonna do for a new bodystyle when it comes time now?... start making Mustang II's and FOX bodies again? Can't make it look modern, because too many Mustang guys already bashed on us GTO guys because our cars didn't look like old GTO's.

I was thinking of buying another GTO, but the G8 is more suitable for what I need. 4doors and a V8. G8 GT here i come.

yeah, you have to like blur your eyes a lot until everything is out of focus then you will see a red blob off to the left. Thats the camaro. A bit out of focus but its there.
