Is there anybody in this region besides me? I haven't seen many in this area. I'm in Montgomery and was wondering if there is any meets, etc local to this area.

I'm in Walden. I saw a G8 GT three weeks ago driving in New Windsor. So, there is someone else here. Let's meet at the ice cream shop on 52 this week and we can compare notes.

ooo I am way south in Putnam. Saw 1 GT so far on I-684 near Bedford. I kind like being one of the few :) Local car show in somers commons every thursday has old and new Muscle about 30 plus cars on a nice night. Was even asked to park my GT in the pontiac area with a few newer GTO's and Trans Am's. but had my 4 year old son with me so I have to leave. The G8GT is an appears to be rare around my area.

Yeah I work in Putnam on Weds and Westchester on Thurs. I've seen 2 of them in Westchester both were 6 cyls. I'm not driving mine when I'm down there I have a work truck. But still overall I haven't seen much of them around.

Yes...the cars are not selling well in this area. Hudson and Colandrea (especially Colandrea) still have the same cars from late June (2008's). Hudson was able to move some, including my car, with the Employee pricing incentive. It is good to know that you are driving a 'rare' car around. I get looks all over the place.

I originally went to Colandrea. I wanted the IOM but they wouldn't deal with me. I went to Middletown got a White for 28k (before GM employee price) and got 10yr 200k warranty instead of 5/100. Also got tires for life. They are selling them like crazy. They have a stryker blue one that I want to badly. IMO that is the sweetest color. Yeah I'll most likely be at the high school car show(not entered) but I'll be there.

Is there an opportunity for a meet this weekend? Maybe rain on Saturday, but Sunday looks good. Let me know.

Hey Guys...I'm from Monroe. Until a couple days ago, I never saw another G8 on the road. As I'm driving down Rt 17M, I see two G8s within 10 seconds of each other, both V6s. One driven by an older woman, the other by an older guy.

I bought mine from Colandrea during the employee pricing... shoulda waited for the bottom to drop out of the economy perhaps.... I could prolly save over $1000 from the deal I got.

What do you think are the best dealers around?

Don Southern Italian wife myself, and yep, got the bosster and Car seat aswell for my 7 yearold daughter and 4 year old son. And as well, yesterday I learned I am getting new carpet monday so tomorrow and sunday ,I get to move furniture and rip up old carpet

I know the feeling. Every Saturday the wife comes to me in the morning and says...here's our plan for the day. I also have the car seats in the back whenever we use my car as I have a 2 boys, 5 & 7.

My local dealer has sold a total of 6 GT's and has 2 GT's 2009 and 1 2009 V6, and I have yet to see one around me. Wondering if they sent them to another dealer?

In Walden. Haven't seen many around this area. When the weather gets warmer, we should have a meet. I've gone down to meet with the Long Island gang once....they have alot of meets every now and then.
