Its one the best parts of owning a GTO, there just are not that many out there and you dont see them every other second

As far as being rare, I thnik if you own a G8 you still will be in the minority compared with Mustangs and Camaro owners.

I couldn't do that. If I do a conversion, it's going to be full-out. That's one of the reasons I didn't do one on the GTO, I'm really anal about stuff like that and would have to do every little detail and it would have cost a fortune.

I believe I have read 50,000. I think this might have been the maximum though.

Well the Grand Prix used to be a 100,000 unit a year car line, assuming they make a version that plays to the rental car market and this car is recieved well by the public.. who knows!

well gm is really trying to limit its fleet sales so dont think well see many rental g8's

I don't see that many G8s so I think they fairly rare.
I have a feeling that with Gas prices last summer, the end of leasing, the economy and the woes of Gm and the end of Pontiac that many dealers did not order the normal amount of cars for 2009. I think the numbers when made public will surprise us. I bet that there are going to be less 2009.5 G8 Gts build than there are going to be GXPs.

G8s are still rare my friend, but personally its another reason I love my G8.
