Does anyone know the lug pattern for the G8 I think it is a 5x120 like the GTO. I saw Holden wheeles for sale on ebay and that was the pattern the had. I got to have 20" on mine, that will be my first buy.

Check in the wheel section, there are discussions about offsets and tire sizes.

And stud diameter (14mm) and I'm not sure about the wheel centre diameter (where it fits over the hub)

I think the hub is 62.9 mm. you can't use 63 as your aftermarket rims will vibrate. You can't swap rims from the GTO to the G8 unless you get some machining done.

You're off by just a little bit. The G8 will have a bore diameter (the center hole) of 67.5mm. It's 2mm smaller than the GTO. You could use GTO wheels (or wheels designed for GTOs), but GTO owners can't use G8 wheels.

So we know that they won't be the 115 MM bolt circle, which is standard for most US cars now?

Right. In fact, GM is going down to 110mm on most of it's midsize & small cars. If it's built by a non-US car maker, it wont have the 110mm bolt pattern. GTO & G8/Holden/120mm--Vibe/Toyota/100mm

So, will the G8 wheels fit on the GTO? I've seen some rims in Australia that are pretty sexy...
