I think it might be fun to have a contest to see who on this forum is the first to take delivery of a G8. We would need some rules, like you must post a copy of the sales order with your name and also a picture of you with the car. I would be willing to chip in a few dollars to a cash pot. Not sure how that would work - anyone have any ideas?

By the way, it won't be me unless I wreck my Charger RT. I'll probably buy one in a year.

Some dealer in Kali will sell the first one. Where the person lives is anybody's guess. The odds are highly in favor for anybody on the west coast.

Living in the Midwest means an 09 model for me. By the time they reach here I might as well wait for a newer and hopefully better product.

The G8 is going to be the wife's car. An A6 isn't out of the question. I can't see paying $30k and only having black or orange to pick from in the color choices.

Where are to good colors? Black interior only, no grey or tan leather? WTF

I got to wait and get a 09. Must haves are DVD, Maunal, and high wing not a big fan of the lip wing. The car looks fast just standing still.

I ordered one of those first 888's on Black Friday. My dealership was only allocated one of those first 888, so I'm getting the first car that rolls into the dealership. But I live in Cleveland, so the West Coast guys should get their cars first.
