has the release date for the GXP been released?

I gotta take my GTO in tomorrow because of the damn security system and I just checked the dealers site and they have 3 G8 GT's on the lot just waiting to be test driven. But I want to drive the GXP!!!!

Pricing hasn't even been announced yet. :(

September was supposed to be the month production began, but there've been no announcements and G8Nation.com has pretty much been silent since the school year began.

So meanwhile, we have neither a concrete release date nor pricing. It's supposed to hit dealer lots in December or January, but a 60-day window isn't what I'd call a "release date."
