so im on 95, and all of the sudden a black Charger R/T passes me and cuts me off and then guns it....so im on.....i hit the pedal but not all the way since its not broken in yet and when i do i hear my friend in the back seat behind me say "cop"....i process it through my head and look at the back window where i see a light bar. I imediately back down

i would have raced a cop if my friend did not catch that real quick....lol

he did not look like a cop besides the light bar in the back which i could barely see because of his really dark tint.....he had to be doing over 110 when i let him go

I think you owe that guy in the backseat lunch, if you would have ran that cop could you imagine how much a ticket like that would cost not to mention the sleepover at the precinct.... Man your lucky.

Nice run Commodore, lucky you. I think I have your story beat though. Here's what happened to me last summer.

I'ts about 7:40 ish and I am in 6th gear.. Cruising... Sun is setting in the distance with that nice Redish hue....I'm driving home from Schottensteins. So I'm crusing, feeling good; frisky........

As I continue on my commute I see several cars that may or may not want to give me a run. None tried...

Amongst the cars was a Red Volvo C60 two lanes over from me on the right. Like other cars, I didn't think anything of it.

As I passed by in the fast lane, I see the car speed up big time.. So I looked over, and to my surprise there was two young guys (15 - 17) in the car. Probably their mothers... I knew I was in 6th, but I said screw it.

He began to pull. I immediately shut down.. I down shifted to 4th, we started again, and it was a different story all together.

We ran two times after my first loss. On the 4th run, I got the car up to 120MPH in 4th. So I am pulling hard this time around, little do I know, we both fly by a Police Officer in a White Ford Explorer. I saw him and slammed on the brakes, too late. He's already accelerating...

He immediately started to follow us. The two guys cut to the right, merged onto another freeway. So the officer catches up with me, pulls up next to me and gives the "http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/images2/smilies/nono.gif" with a mad look on his face. Then he pulls off. Ironically, we both got off at the same exit.

We have one of those black beasts in our town...all black, no chrome. I call it the Predator. The Cops love to use it for speed traps, the all black makes it kind of a stealth bomber.
