We have been doing the pedders suspension on GTO's for several years now.

Thats really the only name your are going to need to know in G8 suspension.

Something to keep in mind all these years we've had to piece our suspensions together and cross our fingers that everything worked well together.

Now you have a company "Pedders" that offers a full suspension solution that has all been R&D to work together as a proper marriage of parts.

Not only that they've already had several years to develop the suspension on the comodore.

Thanks
Mike Haddad

We have the H&R Sport springs (1.4" drop front, 1.3" drop rear AVG) and what we have been told will be the OE tires from Bridgestone. We won't have any wheel fitments until we can measure the car up here firsthand.

Having the 14mm studs will prevent us from using a lot of the BMW fitments we have on the shelf, unfortunately.

All you're saying is the stock system is one way, and this vendor you are touting is another. Both solutions are simply opinions - manifestations of two design teams' ideas of how a vehicle should operate. This is great for someone who has a lot of money but no idea of how they want their car to handle.

That's all fine and dandy, but some of us are intelligent and experienced enough to figure things out on our own. I know enough about springs, shocks, sway bars, trailing arms, sidewall height, etc. to decide exactly how I want my G8 to handle, once I've taken a stock one for a spin.

But thanks for your input! :)

I will be looking for a set of take off wheels or steel wheels and Blizaks(sp?) for the winter conditions... I'll have to see what they have. Will Goat wheels fit the G8? I would like to get some 17 or 18's. Lowering it would be nice, but it'll be a lease so I don't know if I can really justify that.:eek2:

GTO uses smaller lugs and different center bore so no luck. Unless the Aussies have a steel wheel set to go for the car, you'll have to do alloys. We rely on the manufacturer to make a version of the car with steels as OE that we can buy until someone in the aftermarket knocks it off (usualy in a year or so).
