Every now and then you start to think that marketing is getting it together. Marketing is still struggling on how to advertise the Flagship Pontiac. Who is going to buy this car? The 2 cent version will be popular for some of the kids who will most likely never buy a G8. Pontiac could of used a nice G8 GT for the display. People could then see what Pontiac was selling.

If GM really starts to get it together and wants to start smacking the import guys around they will build an inexpensive 300hp sub compact. They could use all the hip hop, rap, pop, metal, and just flat out strange musicians as 'talent' to promote their cars. Get the new car into videos and into a movie or two. The youth will buy them up because of the perception of all their peers are doing it.

Pretty Cool, although t's unfortunate that they had to put that POS Unique Whips version up on the pedestal. Too bad GM didn't think about doing somthing like this with the GTO.

I sure hope so. But I think its more likely that they're gonna have a video clip of 50 cent showing off that version.

yea I saw that billboard when I went there a few weeks ago. It is sweet! Pontiac must be paying a lot of money for advertising their new lineup, since they've had the G6 and Solstice up on the main monitor in Times Square for a long time now.
