Hey guys, went out to capitol with the crew including meeting up with g8_795 while out there. He tore the track up today. So did LasT_ResoT. Anyway to my runs.

We were expecting a bit cooler weather but it seems like that never happens when we go. My best pass was the 13.483. I let that pass shift into 4th but I don't really know if thats what did because I got my best 60' on the same run. Guess I have to go back for more testing.

I was going to get another pass in but they started track prep for the Bracket Racing. I will post up my slip when I get my scanner or camera hooked up. Had to get this out there!

Dude. You seriously have a freak car. I have seen stock g8's not able to break 14's. Even with my tune, CAI, and cat-back, I was struggling to break 13.5.

You are going to be running 11's when you finally get a tune and a few mods.:)

I think it is either the car or him. I had the VMS ECM/TCM tune, RF CAI, MF catback and I only broke below 13.7 once on several trips out to the same track. I see other stock G8's out there not even breaking into the 13's at all.

wait i think i remember hearing that he was not running with a filter.

I will neither confirm or deny that I have ever run without a filter. But i do belive if you run with a greater air flow into the engine the car will produce better results... thats all I'm saying.

So I saw this sticker in my engine bay a while back when detailing it. It was about 1/2" circular and had "LS3" on it. I wasn't sure what it was so I threw it away. Does anyone know what this might mean??

you don't have an LS3...that would be one huge screw up on GM's part if true

it probably has to do with the intake manifold which is an LS3 one

Yo, I was thinking when you get your CAI. We should install it at the track on a saturday and do some before and after runs un-tuned.

Or, it will break into the 12's without a tune. lol

I also don't know what to expect with the outcome. If it does for whatever reason produce slower times I will go back to stock and just throw a Kennie Bell on it later.
