I'd like to sharpen up the steering a bit:
would the Pedders piece help, by itself?
What's involved in installation? (how much has to be disassembled?
how many are needed?

Go to the rear of your G8 before you go to the front. The four rear sub-frame bushes are deeply voided for NVH reasons. These voids allow significant motion in the rear sub-frame. Pedders EP1169 Sub-Frame Inserts fill those voids with eight urethane inserts. When the rear sub-frame is firmed up the entire car becomes more predictable. The rear-end step-out, the effect of the rear wheels moving in a different direction than the front wheels under acceleration, straight line driving over road imperfections, cornering under load or pretty much just driving you will find your steering to be more accurate becuase the front and rear wheels are working together.

Every G8 should have Pedders EP1169 Sub-Frame Inserts. They are that good!

Your local Pedders Dealer has them in stock for DIY or in shop installation.

The price says "Ea." Does one "Each" do a car or do you have to spend more than $238 for a complete set?

They come as a set, "each" does a whole car :)

Check with Wretched Motorsports, fast shipping and great to deal with.

I presume Pedders has Ute/ST bushings ready when they go on sale. Now, it's up to GM to sell a version that I want. *cough*manual transmission*cough*

One G8 ST 300 pounds or so lighter than the sedan with a stick and Pedderised. No problem. What color would you like sir?

Where do I sign up? It should be the exact same color as the show car or VooDoo, just like the Aussie Utes. And if you know something about that transmission that I don't know, we should talk. :D
