I was out for a wonderful night of designated driving for 4 friends on friday when they started trying to get me to race someone. I wasn't really in the mood for it, as i was getting slightly annoyed by their drunken banter.

But, the opportunity presented itself. I was stopped at a red light when i heard an unattractive farting noise nearby. At first, i was going to yell at one of my friends for farting into my leather, but i looked next to me and saw a yellow Focus ZX3. The driver was looking at me with that stupid "im a complete badass" look and "revving" his ricer. So, i decided to give my friends what they wanted. The light turned green and I gunned it. I Immediately jumped a car length ahead. By the time i got to the speed limit (50 mph), i was a full 3-4 lengths ahead. At that time, i let off the gas and the ZX3 went flying by, followed by the car behind me pulling up beside me. He paused next to me for a moment, flashed his red and blue lights, gave me a dirty look, and proceeded forward to pull over the ZX3.

Awesome, another vicious kill AND he got busted! Bad night for the ZX3 ricer!

Look, not to burst your bubble, but a ZX3, even tuned isn't a battle for a stock V6 G8 GT, let alone an eight. I have both a ZX3 and a ZX5 SVT.......Please don't embarrass yourself by calling this a kill. A SRT-4 Neon, Stage II turbo, then you can brag a little.

What was the ZX3 guy thinking trying to race with a G8 GT? I say the ZX3 guy asked for it, and Bob gave him a red and blue flashing suppository for his efforts.

Well here's a kill for ya. Im coming back from my weekly trip from South Carolina on I-85S to Atlanta, when I noticed a All Black sport sedan with HID's in my review. So I let off the gas and it so happen to be a guy in a new model Audi A4. So he takes off and slows down, letting me know he wants to race. So I nod to him and we take off from a 70mph start. I LEFT HIS A$$$$$$$$$!!!!! He was in my rear view until I hit 154. So I eased off and waited on him. Poor bastered took the next exit, so I followed his A$$ and at the next light I laughed at him. I then turned around and noticed a GA State Trooper. He caught it all on tape; appearently I left him too. He only gave us a warning because he forgot to calibrate his radar! :D BTW: the GA State Trooper had a Dodge Charger. Glad I had my tune and limiter taken off.

:rolleyes: What's with some of these idiots? I got a V6 Mustang a month ago or so. Sheesh. I wasn't going to bother, but his buddy was leaning out the passenger side window egging me. Had to do it, ya know?

I've seen that. They start with a lower body kit, in gel coat, sometimes two or three different colors for effect, that's stage one.

Stage two is the rear wing 18" off the deck - out of the airflow so that it does not slow them down.

Stage three is the 6" diameter by 2' resonator/tip sticking out behind the bumper looking more like a JATO than a muffler.

Stage four is aluminum pulleys and CAI, now is when we're really working those 150 hp engines up to 155!!!

Stage five is a set of lavender scented Kuhmo's and blowing enough smoke to make people think you really have something more than 4 in-line hamsters under the bonnet.

Dont forget chief,

Stage six, you get NoS and various other racing stickers all over your car. The more the merrier, as each sticker you add gives you an added 4 horsepower (except the NoS sticker, which gives you 10!!!)

i ask the not very muscle and they tell me "i have a stage II"

It's gotta be a ricer term, since thats the arena you hear it the most. How the hell it's drifting to AMERICAN V-8 muscle is beyond me. I've heard it mentioned lightly in this forum.
