Greetings from "sunny" Oregon! Thought I'd say hello since all of the other newbs are piling in. I currently have a 2007 Honda Accord V6 coupe, it's a good car, but I just can't stand FWD. I had a 2006 Lexus IS350 before that and loved the 300+hp and RWD, just didn't feel the $500 payment was worth it. I'm really intrigued by the new G8, and can't wait to test drive one. However my experience with cars in the past 15 years is to always wait at least one year to let the prices come down and let the initial bugs get worked out. I also really want XM radio and a real Nav system, which some people say will come in the 09 model.

Honda Accord?? :The_Villagers: Kidding.. (I just like using that smiley icon ehehe)
Well, welcome to the club. :)
Depending on the "wow factor" I'll consider buying one of the first ones.

Welcome. Yeah, bang for buck the G8 is going to be unbeatable. I'll be an early adopter for you :) This one is a bit different as it has been rolling around down under for a year already.

It's my first Honda and it's been a good car quality wise. It just turned 9k miles and hasn't been to the dealer yet. It's kind of funny that my foreign Honda is made in the US:us_flag:, and the GM Pontiac is made in Australia!
Thanks for the warm welcome!

That's true, but I really want a few features that my current car has, namely the integrated Nav and XM.

I already have a stand alone nav, which we carry from car to van. It is also hard for me to justify several thousand for an integrated nav when you can get a good stand alone for less than $500 now.
XM - I listen to my iPod 99% of the time. No need for me. I can see how some may like it though.

I was just kidding, has nothing to do with "foreign-ness" :p. Just rattling some chains.

No worries, I like to do some of that myself!
