2ltrgsr 12-04-2008, 08:47 PM man i wish this was out.....
Screw991le 12-04-2008, 09:25 PM We'll see, after their testing then some owner's dyno numbers. This engine does have a lot of potential and the torque management would be nice thing to control.
Scott@Superchips 12-05-2008, 11:01 AM SRG963 is one of our beta testers and should be posting some raw data here shortly for you guy's.
I believe you will enjoy the product!

Dukeofpg 04-15-2009, 01:09 AM I just installed and tested a Cortex tuner on Mike Haddad's dyno. Haddad Motorsports is in downtown LA. Steve registered and downloaded the program for my 2009 GT on the Cortex Tuner, (Premium Sport Red) Mike ran two base line runs. The #'s were a constant 331.3 HP with 341.0 TQ in stock form. The tune was Cortex custom with changes to 91 octane, Shift pressure Superchips tune, Speed limiter Superchips tune. The first pull was 337.3 HP and 344.6 TQ. Well this is not jaw dropping and you might laugh or think this is a bad deal, but.......... DRIVING IS AMAZING. The package on the road makes this car feel and run fantastic. The 1-2 shift just about pitches the car sideways. I even got a sweet little chirp on the 2-3 shift. Downshifting in sport mode will spin the tires at 40 mph.
I spent a bit of cash for the tuner until I can take time to install a MagnaCharger and it was good money spent. If you want real big numbers and expect to rip it up on the track, you might need to look at some other source for horsepower. But if you just want to improve your driving experience, call Haddad and get your Cortex.

Congrats, 331.3 HP is by far the highest stock rwhp I've seen posted to date. Most GT's are under 320HP at the rear wheels stock...even on a Dyno jet.

Steve, from Haddad Motorsports, is planning to send me the dyno files so that you can see them. I am surprised that this is a high number for the car. Mike Haddad had just completed repairs and calibration to his dyno while I was waiting for my turn. I need to mention that I am using Royal Purple 100% synthetic oil. I also drained the new oil and put break in Royal Purple oil with 150 miles on the car.
Scott@Superchips 04-15-2009, 07:26 AM Great post! Thanks for sharing your data.

Tha Professor 04-16-2009, 05:31 PM Does the superchips tune adjust fuel trims?
Scott@Superchips 04-17-2009, 09:24 AM The files in the Superchips programmer include air/fuel calibrations set by the engineer but we do not offer a user adjustable option if that is what you are asking.

Does the superchips tune adjust fuel trims?
Pontiacforever 04-17-2009, 05:07 PM Can anyone tell me the difference between the Superchips Cortex and Flashpaq?
Scott@Superchips 04-20-2009, 10:16 AM The cortex has an additional powertrain warranty attached to the product that covers your vehicles engine and trans if there is an issue related to the product.
The vehicle has to be under 100K to be applicable.

ScottE 04-20-2009, 03:46 PM Just so I have this straight before I order. The Cortex 2950, and the Flashpaq 2865 will do the exact same thing for my '09 G8 GT, except the Flashpaq does not have the powertrain warranty?
ScottE
p.s. Anyone know of any good deals on the Flashpaq 2865?
